TAS insurer raises collection of premiums by almost 25% in Jan-July
KYIV. Aug 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – TAS Insurance Group (Kyiv) in January-July 2021 collected UAH 1.367 billion in insurance premiums, which is 24.9% more than in January-July 2020.
As reported on the insurer’s website, the first place in the company’s portfolio with a share of 34% over the reporting period was taken by OSAGO – UAH 464.78 million of premiums, which is 12.8% more than the corresponding figure for the same period in 2020.
Sales of KASKO policies increased by 38.5%, to UAH 309.97 million, which is 22.68% of the total amount of premiums collected by the company.
Under Green Card policies, the insurer collected UAH 196.88 million in premiums in January-July, which is 14.4% of the insurer’s total receipts and is 28.5% more than the corresponding figure for the reporting period last year.
At the same time, sales of voluntary health insurance policies for the year increased by almost 1.5 times, namely by 49.8%: under voluntary medical insurance contracts, the insurer collected UAH 158.69 million in premiums in January-July, which is 11.61% from the aggregate amount of the company’s receipts for the specified period.
Under property insurance contracts, the company collected UAH 41.31 million of insurance premiums. Under other insurance contracts, UAH 195.36 million of premiums were collected.
