TAS insurer increases payments by 45.4% in July
KYIV. Aug 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – TAS Insurance Group (Kyiv) paid out UAH 96.13 million of indemnities under concluded insurance contracts in July, which is 45.4% more than the insurer’s payments for the corresponding month of last year, according to the insurer’s website.
In particular, UAH 33.8 million of indemnities were paid under the policies of compulsory civil liability insurance of land vehicle owners (OSAGO), which is 35.16% of the total amount of payments for the specified period and is 19.9% more than the indicated figure for July 2020.
The share of KASKO in the company’s payment portfolio amounted to 34.56% over the month: under land transport insurance contracts, the company paid UAH 33.23 million (more by 41.9%).
Under voluntary medical insurance contracts, the insurance company paid UAH 11.82 million, which is 12.3% of the company’s total payments for the month and exceeds by 37.4% the corresponding figure for July 2020.
Payments under the Green Card policies increased even more – by 2.29 times: under the relevant policies, the insurer reimbursed UAH 9.95 million, which is equal to 10.35% of the total amount of the insurer’s payments for the month.
Under other insurance contracts, TAS Insurance Group paid UAH 7.33 million in July.
