TAS Group halts work of Interjuice apple processing plant in Marhanets due to Russian invasion – Tigipko
KYIV. Nov 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Due to the full-scale war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine, the TAS group of companies was forced to stop the work of the Interjuice plant (Marhanets, Dnipropetrovsk region), which was engaged in fruit processing before the war.
According to the founder of TAS Sergiy Tigipko, now 12 enterprises of the group continue to work.
"We lost the plant in Marhanets, closed the apple processing plant. We lost the quarry, but now we have resumed it (albeit in such a disassembled state) near Kupiansk, and returned 3,600 hectares of land on the border of Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. All our other production sites continue working. We have not stopped the investment program, and now 12 of our plants are working," he said at the Kyiv International Economic Forum (KIEF) in Kyiv on Thursday.
According to the unified state register of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, Interjuice LLC with a charter capital of UAH 46.2 million, which includes a plant in Marhanets, belongs to Sergiy Tigipko through his company T.A.S. Overseas Investments Limited (Cyprus).
TAS Group was founded in 1998. Its business interests cover the financial sector (banking and insurance segments) and pharmacy, as well as industry, real estate, and venture projects.
The founder of TAS is Sergiy Tigipko.
