Stellantis Ukraine announces lineup as part of return of Jeep auto brand to market
KYIV. Feb 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – As part of the gradual resumption of full-fledged work in the Ukrainian market, the representative office of the Jeep SUV brand as part of Stellantis Ukraine announced an updated lineup of four models that will soon be available for order in Ukraine.
According to a press release from the representative office, updated models of Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Compass, as well as the Jeep Avenger electric crossover, which received the title of Best European Car of the Year 2023, will be available in Ukraine.
“Stellantis Ukraine is gradually launching Jeep in the Ukrainian market. We have four main areas of work with the brand and its further development. First of all, this is the development of a dealer network and related services. The next step is the launch of four new models,” the press release nores.
The press service told Interfax-Ukraine that the company had not yet announced a dealer network, but back in October a tender was held for new dealers in Odesa and Dnipro.
“Now we also do not give information about the configurations, engines and prices of cars. This will be announced later and very gradually,” the agency was told.
As reported, the Stellantis group, which represented Peugeot, Citroen, Opel and DS Automobiles auto brands in Ukraine, announced in October 2021 that it would also officially represent the Jeep brand from the second quarter of 2022. It was expected to bring four models to the market and create at least ten dealerships.
