Stefanchuk to pay official visit to France
KYIV. Jan 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk will be paying on an official visit to the French Republic from January 30 to February 2, the press service of the parliament’s office reports.
The program of the visit provides for the speaker’s participation in the plenary sessions of the lower and upper chambers of the French Parliament.
In addition, a number of bilateral meetings are planned, including with the President of the French Republic, the Prime Minister, the heads of both chambers of the French Parliament – the National Assembly and the Senate, with the leadership and members of the parliamentary committees on defense, foreign and European affairs, the parliamentary friendship group France–Ukraine.
The head of the Verkhovna Rada will also address his French colleagues at meetings of each of the chambers of the French Parliament.
