Stefanchuk calls important Austrian Parliament's decision to recognize Holodomor of 1932-1933 as Stalin's crime
KYIV. Dec 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk welcomed the recognition by the Austrian Parliament of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine as a crime of the Stalinist regime.
I welcome the decision of the Austrian Parliament to recognize the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as a terrible crime of the Stalinist regime. 90 years ago, famine was used as a weapon. Today it is important for Ukraine to restore historical justice. I am grateful to everyone who supported thе decision," he said on Twitter on Sunday, December 18.
