State Special Communications Service receives new off-road vehicles for work in JFO zone
KYIV. Dec 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Head of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine Yuriy Shchyhol handed over to the servicemen new special purpose all-terrain vehicles, which will be used by the territorial subdivisions of the State Special Communications Service, involved in performing tasks in the area of the Joint Forces Operation.
According to the press service of the department, the ceremony of the transfer of equipment took place at the events in honor of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Myrhorod, Poltava region, where the third territorial center of government communications is located.
In addition, the State Special Communications Service noted the servicemen who participated in the ATO and JFO. Schyhol presented awards to 18 servicemen: the "Defender of the Motherland" medal, certificates of honor of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, gratitude of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, the departmental distinction of the State Special Communications Service "Firearms".
