State Special Communications Service checks functioning of public administration system in case of intensification of Russian military aggression

KYIV. Dec 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Administration of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection checks functioning of the elements of state administration system in the event of intensification of Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine, for this purpose the State Special Communications Service personnel are alerted throughout the country.

According to the website of the service, more than 200 units of mobile equipment are involved in the complex training of special communication systems. In particular, D-14MU complex control rooms, R-414MU stations, mobile special communication units, mobile subscriber complexes of special communication, as well as more than 3,000 servicemen of the State Special Communications Service.

"The State Special Communications Service is ready for the challenges that face our state. In any conditions and circumstances, our service is one of the first to fulfill the assigned tasks. Building up the state special communications system is an urgent measure in a hybrid war. Together with the Ministry of Defense and all sectors of the security forces and we are on guard every day and are ready to provide uninterrupted communications," head of the State Special Communications Service Yuriy Shchyhol is quoted as saying.

It is reported that the exercises were held from November 16 to 19 throughout Ukraine. All territorial bodies, territorial subdivisions and the Main Directorate of Government Communications of the State Special Communications Service were involved in them. During the exercise, the issues of planning the use of bodies and subunits were worked out in accordance with the conditions of the operational situation and the tasks of organizing special communications, including the provision of communications with the command posts of the central and regional authorities that make up the security and defense forces.
