State preparing to enter boards of AvtoKrAZ, Zaporizhtransformator

KYIV. Dec 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The state, which received all the shares of PrJSC AvtoKrAZ and PrJSC Zaporizhtransformator on November 6, is preparing to introduce its representatives to the supervisory boards of the companies.

According to information on the website of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission, the regulator decided to appoint a candidate – a representative of the state in the supervisory boards of these companies at a meeting on Tuesday.

At the same time, the text of the decision itself is not available on the website.

As reported, on November 5, the headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief decided to withdraw the shares of PJSC Ukrnafta, PJSC Ukrtatnafta (with the exception of the share of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy), Motor Sich, PrJSC AvtoKrAZ and PJSC Zaporizhtransformator into state ownership as military property during martial law. This was carried out on November 6 after the regulation of the procedure by the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.

AvtoKrAZ and Zaporizhtransformator, controlled respectively by Kostiantyn Zhevaho and Konstantin Grigorishin, have been in bankruptcy proceedings in recent years.

Zaporizhtransformator is a major manufacturer of transformer equipment, has experience in deliveries to 88 countries. It produces power oil transformers, electric reactors, controlled shunt reactors. According to Oleksandr Kharchenko, head of the Energy Industry Research Center, the plant is currently operating: six transformers are in operation, and 14 are being commissioned.

AvtoKrAZ is the only truck manufacturer in Ukraine that has a closed technological production cycle. The model range of the KrAZ brand includes 33 basic models, almost 350 modifications and more than 1,500 sets of two-, three- and four-axle trucks with different layout solutions.
