State budget receives UAH 1 bln in 2.5 months from registration of 28,000 cars with euro plates – customs
KYIV. Aug 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – From June 15 to August 27, the state budget received UAH 1 billion for the customs clearance of more than 28,000 vehicles with foreign registration under preferential terms, the State Customs Service has said.
"From June 15 to August 27, 2021, as a result of simplified customs clearance and taxation of over 28,000 cars with euro plates, over UAH 1 billion has been transferred to the state budget, which will be used to combat COVID-19, in particular for vaccination," the department on Telegram.
The customs said preferential conditions for customs clearance will be valid until November 10, 2021 – 180 days from the date of their entry into force. For combatants who are directly in the JFO area for more than 90 days from the date of entry into force of the laws, the period is 270 days, until February 8, 2022.
"The countdown begins from the day the laws came into force – May 15, and not from the day they were enacted – June 15," the customs said.
