Some 96% of education employees vaccinated in Lviv – city council
LVIV. Nov 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A total of 96% of education workers have been vaccinated in Lviv, the press service of the city council reports with reference to the data of the acting Director of the Department of Humanitarian Policy Yevhen Boiko.
"In general, we have a very high level of vaccination of education workers – 96%," the press service quotes Boiko as saying.
According to him, about 2% of the 16,000 personnel of educational institutions were suspended from work in order to fulfill the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers on the non-admission to work of unvaccinated employees of the education sector. According to Yevhen Boiko, these are mainly employees of service and technical personnel.
Another 2% are employees who are currently on sick leave or on vacation.
