Some 552 residents remain in Soledar, 15 of them are children – Donetsk Military Administration
KYIV. Jan 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Some 552 local residents remain in the town of Soledar, Donetsk region, presumably 15 of them are children of different ages, said head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko.
"Yesterday, with additional measures – they were quite complicated – it was possible to evacuate seven people … On Thursday, there were 559 people left in Soledar. We evacuated seven people, 552 persons remain as of now in Soledar – this is actually from the town with the population of 20,000, the entire Soledar community," Kyrylenko said on the air of the national telethon on Saturday.
"We will … try as much as possible to convince people to evacuate, to give their consent to this," he added.
