Some 466 children killed, 943 injured amid Russia’s aggression in Ukraine – PGO
KYIV. March 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – As a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, 466 children were killed, more than 943 were injured, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) reports.
“As of the morning of March 30, 2023, more than 1,409 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 466 children were killed and more than 943 received injuries of varying severity. The most affected children were in Donetsk region – 446, Kharkiv – 273, Kyiv – 127, Kherson – 94, Zaporizhia – 88, Mykolaiv – 85, Chernihiv – 68, Luhansk – 66, Dnipropetrovsk – 66,” the message published on the Telegram channel says.
These figures are not final, as work continues on their installation in places of combat operations, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
On March 29, a 16-year-old boy died as a result of a car explosion on an enemy mine in Barvenkove, Kharkiv region.
Due to the massive bombing and shelling of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, 3,126 educational institutions were damaged, 438 of them were completely destroyed.
