Some 43% of MTIBU members have high scores on main OSAGO criteria in Q4 2022
KYIV. March 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Motor (Transport) Insurance Bureau of Ukraine (MTIBU) has published an assessment of the activities of insurance companies providing compulsory civil liability insurance for owners of land vehicles (OSAGO) for the fourth quarter of 2022.
According to MTIBU data published on its website, out of 40 MTIBU member companies, 17 insurance companies had high performance in all main criteria (general assessment of activities, quality of claims settlement, level of complaints from victims) at the end of the year 2022 (at the end of 2021 they were 20): Universalna, Oranta, INGO, Kniazha Vienna Insurance Group, Guarantee, PZU Ukraine, UTSK, Inter-Policy, TAS insurance group, ARX, UNIQA, Ukrainian Insurance Group, VUSO, Brokbusiness, Alfa Insurance, Salamandra, and Arsenal Insurance.
According to the information of the bureau, Omega showed a low assessment of the quality of settlement of insured events, and Credo according to the indicator “level of complaints from victims and insurers.”
MTIBU is the only association of insurers that provides compulsory insurance of civil liability of land vehicle owners for damage caused to third parties.
