Slovianski Shpalery-KFTB sees fall in wallpaper production in Jan-Aug
KYIV. Sept 21 (Interfax-Ukraine) – PJSC Slovianski Shpalery-KFTB (previously Koriukivka industrial paper factory in Chernihiv region), one of the Ukrainian major wallpaper producers, decreased its output by 2.9% in January-August 2021 compared to the same period in 2020, to 22.54 million pieces of wallpaper.
According to the statistical data of the Ukrpapir association provided to Interfax-Ukraine, thus, following the first eight months of the year, the factory switched to a decline in its production pace compared to the same period last year.
The volume of commercial products grew in monetary terms by 10.5%, to UAH 1.158 billion in January-August.
Ukrpapir does not have data on wallpaper production in Ukraine as a whole, since, as reported, the State Statistics Service has ceased to provide it with these data.
Slovianski Shpalery-KFTB produces several kinds of wallpaper, including washable, duplex, vinyl and acrylic wallpaper. It supplies products to the CIS countries and Europe and has a dealer network in 25 countries.
