Slovak govt approves new package of defense assistance to Ukraine – FM
KYIV. Dec 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Slovak government has approved a new package of defense assistance to Ukraine, and Slovakia will also continue to provide humanitarian assistance, Foreign Minister Rastislav Kacer has said.
"We will continue to support you practically in your struggle. Here is the defense support. Yesterday, our Government approved a new package of defense assistance. These are ammunition, large calibers, also for fighters, warm clothes, other equipment," Kacer said at a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday.
The Minister stressed that Slovakia would also continue humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
"We will do everything to make it easier for Ukrainians to overwinter, because this is a terrible war, it causes disgust," he said.
