Six DTEK teams resuming power supply in Kherson region – company top manager
KYIV. Nov 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Six brigades and 21 units of special equipment from DTEK are working to restore power supply in the de-occupied part of Kherson region, Dmytro Sakharuk, Executive Director of the company, has said.
"We continue repair work in Kherson region. Now, six DTEK teams and 21 units of special equipment are working on returning light to the region," Sakharuk wrote on his Facebook on Tuesday evening.
He said that five teams are working on the restoration of a 150 kV overhead line, which was badly damaged during the hostilities, providing power to Beryslav and neighboring districts of the region.
"We have broken wires, fallen poles on a multi-kilometer section. When we repair it, we will be able to power Beryslav and nearby districts of the region," the DTEK’s top manager said, describing the situation, adding that from December the company plans to start replacing 18 damaged poles in this territory.
According to him, another team is working in the Bilozerka district, where power engineers have already done 75% of the work.
"We are on schedule. We work together with bomb disposal engineers and do our best to connect Kherson region as soon as possible," Sakharuk said.
