Situation in Transnistria remains difficult, Russia preparing to evacuate families of Russian officers from region – AFU General Staff
KYIV. May 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports a difficult situation in the temporarily occupied territory of Moldova (Transnistria).
According to the Ukrainian servicemen, the Russian group of troops in the region bordering Ukraine continues to be in full combat readiness.
"The situation in Transnistrian region of Moldova remains difficult. The units of the operational group of Russian troops continue to be in full combat readiness. The armed formations of the Transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova are serving in an enhanced regime," the AFU said.
It clarifies that at the moment preparations are also being made for the evacuation of the families of Russian officers from Transnistria.
