Since Dec 2022, Netherlands transfers about 300 tonnes of power equipment to Ukraine to restore power supply
KYIV. Jan 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Since December 2022, Ukraine has received 36 cargoes of humanitarian aid in the form of energy equipment with a total weight of 286.7 tonnes, of which 12 cargoes weighing 103.6 tonnes have been delivered to Ukraine from the Netherlands in the last two weeks, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported on its website on Friday.
"The provided equipment will help restore power supply to thousands of Ukrainians who daily experience the consequences of Russian barbaric attacks on our energy sector. Thanks to the Netherlands for this support," Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko, quoted on the website, said.
As the ministry said, among the equipment provided by the Dutch side are transformers, SF6 circuit breakers, grounding switches, disconnectors, surge arresters, electrical cables and grounding, as well as overhead line fittings.
