Silpo opens new designer supermarket in Boryspil
KYIV. Dec 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Silpo chain has opened a new supermarket at 6, Kyivsky Shliah Street in Boryspil, its press service has reported.
In case of possible blackouts, the store is equipped with a diesel generator and will soon have a Starlink installed there to ensure uninterrupted Internet communications, the press service said.
The area of the new supermarket is 1,600 square meters. It is equipped with 11 classic cash desks and six self-service cash desks.
The design theme of the store is dedicated to helicopters and retro-futurism. Its opening was scheduled for May 2022, but was delayed due to the full-scale invasion of Russia.
