Shmyhal: We are working to continue cooperation, assistance via USAID, World Bank mechanisms next year
KYIV. Sept 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The government of Ukraine is working to continue cooperation and assistance through the mechanisms of USAID and the World Bank next year, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
"USAID budget support is valuable and tangible for Ukraine. I personally thanked USAID Administrator Samantha Power for help. We are working to continue financial cooperation and assistance through USAID and World Bank," Shmyhal said on Telegram.
According to him, Ukraine has maintained macroeconomic stability, in particular thanks to significant financial assistance from international partners.
Shmyhal also said that the parties are considering ways to involve the agency in the programs to support small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine, which should stimulate the development of the economy and help increase business activity in the liberated territories.
