Shmyhal, U.S. ambassador discuss strengthening of energy resilience of Ukraine
KYIV. Jan 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink discussed the strengthening of Ukraine’s energy resilience.
"The strengthening of Ukraine’s energy resilience was discussed during a meeting with U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink," Shmyhal wrote on Telegram.
According to him, the government, together with partners, is developing mechanisms to help balance the energy system amid constant shelling of the energy infrastructure by Russia.
"We considered the proposals of Ukrainian power engineers, as well as the purchase of the necessary equipment. We count on U.S. assistance in this direction. We are grateful for the weighty and unwavering support," he summed up.
