Shmyhal thanks PM of Czech Republic for consistent support in struggle of Ukrainian people against Russian invaders
KYIV. Oct 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal thanked Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala for consistent support in the struggle of the Ukrainian people against the Russian invaders.
"The first summit of the European Political Community (EPC), a new format of cooperation between European countries, has opened in Prague. Its goal is to unite European leaders to strengthen the security, stability and prosperity of Europe. Naturally, all these factors are impossible without Ukraine. Therefore, at the invitation of the Czech Republic, our Ukrainian delegation is taking part in the session of the EPC today. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke in an online format. In total, the leaders of 44 countries joined the event," Shmyhal wrote on the Telegram channel.
The Prime Minister thanked French President Emmanuel Macron for the initiative to create such a platform, the Prime Minister and the Czech government for involving Ukraine in the discussion of topical issues, as well as for consistent support in the struggle of the Ukrainian people against Russian invaders.
