Shmyhal on Defense Minister Taran: absolutely professional person, in right position
KYIV. Sept 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal believes that Defense Minister Andriy Taran is a professional and is in his place.
"As for the Minister of Defense, he is in his place. He is an absolutely professional person, a professional military man who is respected by the army and has gone the appropriate path to this position," Shmyhal said during an hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada on Friday.
As reported, leader of the Holos party Kira Rudyk said that the first personnel rotation in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which may take place this fall, should be Taran’s dismissal from the post of defense minister.
