Shmyhal instructs MFA to intensify work with partners on preparation of resolutions, statements on recognition of Holodomor as genocide
KYIV. Apr 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to intensify work with partners on the preparation of resolutions and statements on the recognition of the Holodomor as genocide.
“We held a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of events in connection with the 90th anniversary of the Holodomor tragedy. We have identified priorities for the implementation of the relevant action plan for 2023,” Shmyhal wrote on the Telegram channel.
According to the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been given the task to intensify work with partners on the preparation of resolutions and statements on the recognition of the Holodomor as genocide.
“We also gave a number of instructions and tasks to the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory and other departments to implement the action plan for this year,” he wrote.
