Shmyhal initiates Ukraine's withdrawal from agreement on perpetuating memory of heroism of peoples of CIS member states in war of 1941-1945
KYIV. April 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal initiates Ukraine’s withdrawal from the agreement on perpetuating the memory of the heroism of the peoples of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in the war of 1941-1945.
Corresponding bill (No145) on the withdrawal of Ukraine from the Agreement on the Commemoration of the courage and heroism of the peoples of the CIS countries in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, was registered in the Verkhovna Rada on Thursday, the website of the parliament says.
The text of the bill has not yet been made public.
