Shmyhal discusses with speaker of Seimas of Lithuania creation of special tribunal to hold Russia's top leadership accountable
KYIV. Nov 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has discussed with Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen and representatives of the Lithuanian Parliament the creation of a special tribunal to bring to justice the top leadership of Russia.
"The parties discussed the creation of a special tribunal to bring to justice the top leadership of the Russian Federation and legislative initiatives to confiscate Russian assets. The head of the Ukrainian government thanked Lithuania for recognizing Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism," the government’s press service said.
The parties also touched upon the issue of the restoration of Ukraine.
The speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas, for her part, noted that Lithuania will help Ukraine in the restoration.
