Shmyhal discusses with FMs of seven countries issues of arms supplies, financial assistance, sanctions against Russia

KYIV. Nov 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has discussed with the Foreign Ministers of Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Finland and Sweden the issues of arms supplies, financial assistance and sanctions against Russia.

"The foreign ministers of seven countries have arrived in Ukraine today: Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Finland and Sweden. The main topics of our meeting were weapons, finance and sanctions against the aggressor. In the 9th promotional package, we count on the full-fledged disconnection of Russian banks from SWIFT and the prohibition of entry into the EU of citizens of a terrorist state," Shmyhal wrote on the Telegram channel.

According to him, considerable attention was also paid to the energy sector and the shelling of critical infrastructure by the Russian Federation.

"I thanked the Northern European and Baltic countries for their help with energy equipment. This support helps Ukrainians to remain indestructible and continue the fight against the barbaric Russian aggression," he wrote.
