Shelling by Russian-occupation forces damages 16 houses in Donetsk region in four days – prosecutor's office
KYIV. Nov 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – At least 16 residential buildings in Donetsk region, some 15 of them in the village of Nevelske, were damaged as a result of three attacks by Russian-occupation forces in just the last four days, the information policy department of Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office said on Wednesday.
"On November 16, 2021, at about 08:30, representatives of Russian illegal armed formations carried out a mortar attack on the town of Maryinka, Pokrovsky district, during which the roof of the house was damaged. In addition, on the night of November 16 and 17, 2021, at about 02:30, fighters of the criminal occupation administration of Russia made a mortar attack on the village of Nevelske, Yasynovatsky district. During this attack, seven private households and five military vehicles were damaged," the prosecutor’s office said.
Earlier, on the night of November 13 and 14, 2021, in the period from 01:00 to 02:00, Russian-occupation forces also fired at the village of Nevelske, as a result of which eight houses were damaged and one car, which was in one of the farmsteads, burned down. There were no civilian casualties.
