Shefir says attempt on his life aimed at intimidation of top govt officials
KYIV. Sept 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – First aide to the President of Ukraine, Serhiy Shefir, has said that the attempt on his life was carried out with the aim of intimidating the highest echelon of power in the country.
"All I can say is that the attempt was made to intimidate the highest echelon of power. But we must understand that Volodymyr Zelensky is a very strong-willed person, pivotal, he cannot be intimidated. He chose the right path, goes his own way, and our people support him. God forbid, we will cope with all these things," Shefir said at a briefing by the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding the attempt on his life.
