Several Polish policemen injured by migrants on border with Belarus
WARSAW. Nov 17 (Interfax) – At least seven employees of Polish law enforcement agencies have been injured in the latest incidents on the border with Belarus, the Polish police said on Tuesday.
"Seven policemen were attacked and injured today. Two had their heads injured by stones, and another five suffered arm and leg injuries," the police said in a statement on Twitter.
The Polish Defense Ministry said earlier that migrants threw stones at border guards and the servicemen guarding the border with Belarus while making an attempt to break through the border. Polish security forces used tear gas to deter the attack.
