Service of obtaining statement of residence launched in Diia
KYIV. Nov 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ministry of Digital Transformation has reported on the successful completion of beta testing of the service for obtaining a statement of residence in a smartphone.
"Now, Ukrainians can generate one of the most popular documents in a few clicks. A statement of residence is required when receiving every fourth public service. For example, when getting married, opening a bank account, placing a child in a kindergarten or when applying for a job," the Ministry of Digital Transformation said on its Telegram channel on Thursday.
Since June, one can get the statement on the Diia portal in just one minute, from today the service is also available in the application.
The statement will be displayed in Diia among other electronic documents, while the generated pdf-document can be downloaded within 24 hours.
The service was implemented by the Ministry of Digital Transformation in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Migration Service of Ukraine and with the support of the Eastern Europe Foundation’s EGAP program funded by the Swiss government.
