Servant of People initiates exclusion of MP Dmytruk from faction

KYIV. Nov 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada at a meeting on Monday decided to begin the procedure for expelling MP Artem Dmytruk from its membership, said the faction’s speaker Yulia Paliychuk.

"At a meeting of the Servant of the People faction, a decision was made to initiate the procedure for excluding Artem Dmytruk from its membership," Paliychuk wrote in Telegram. She later said that a decision was made to initiate the exclusion of Dmytruk from the Verkhovna Rada committee on law enforcement. Also, according to Paliychuk, it was decided to initiate the exclusion of Liudmyla Buimister from the parliamentary committee on economic development, as elected from the "Servant of the people", but later expelled from the faction.

As reported earlier, head of the Servant of the People party Oleksandr Korniyenko said that the political force could consider the issue of excluding Dmytruk from its membership at its congress at the end of November.

Earlier, Dmytruk, in an interview, stated his disappointment with the "Servant of the people". In turn, head of the faction, David Arakhamia, said that Dmytruk was "wagging away from the faction."
