Servant of People, Dovira urgently initiate convocation of conciliation board on Oct 5 – MP Kachura
KYIV. Oct 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Servant of the People parliamentary faction and the Dovira group are initiating an urgent meeting of the Verkhovna Rada’s conciliation board on Tuesday, October 5, MP Oleksandr Kachura told Interfax-Ukraine.
The parliamentarian also provided the agency with a photocopy of the joint statement of Servant of the People and Dovira, signed respectively by their leaders – David Arakhamia and Oleh Kulinich.
"According to Part 7 of Article 73 of the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a meeting of the conciliation board is convened by the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and in his absence by the first deputy or deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine or at the initiative of representatives of two or more parliamentary factions (deputy groups), if necessary. The deputy faction Servant of the People and the deputy group Dovira … urgently and without delay initiate the convening of a meeting of the conciliatory board of deputy factions (deputy groups) on October 5," the document says.
At the meeting of the conciliatory board, they propose to submit the draft agenda of the plenary sessions of the Verkhovna Rada for October 5-8, previously sent to the members.
As reported, first deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk prematurely closed the plenary session of the parliament on Tuesday afternoon due to the lack of an agreed agenda.
