Servant of People considers possibility of expelling MP Buimister from faction
KYIV. Oct 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Servant of the People parliamentary faction considers the possibility of expelling from the faction MP Liudmyla Buimister, who voted against the adoption of the law on oligarchs, first deputy head of the faction Oleksandr Korniyenko said.
"We have one candidate on the agenda regarding the expelling – this is an MP who did not vote for the law on oligarchs, or rather, voted ‘red’ button, and this red button is a red line for us. This is Liudmyla Buimister, majoritarian in Kyiv," he said at a briefing on Monday.
At the same time, Korniyenko said that the expelling of Buimister from the faction, as well as her voluntary withdrawal from her membership, will not lead to early resignation of her deputy powers.
