Scholz condemns Russia’s intentions to hold pseudo-referendums in occupied territories of Ukraine
KYIV. Sept 20 (Interfax-Ukraine) – German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called unacceptable the so-called "referendums" on the annexation of the occupied territories of Ukraine to the Russian Federation, the German edition Zeit Online reports.
"It is absolutely clear that these fictitious referendums are unacceptable," Scholz told reporters in New York.
He stressed that "referendums" are not covered by "international law and agreements reached by the international community."
