Scholz, Biden, Macron, Sunak and Meloni agree to continue military support for Ukraine
KYIV. Jan 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Wednesday afternoon, Chancellor Olaf Scholz spoke over phone with U.S. President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni about further support for Ukraine.
According to the website of the Federal Chancellor, the conversation was devoted to the security situation in Ukraine and continued support for the Ukrainian fight against the Russian attack.
“All five heads of state and government agreed to continue military support to Ukraine in close Euro-Atlantic coordination,” the message says.
