Russia's missile strike against Chaplyne a deliberate terror act – Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Head
KYIV. Aug 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The missile strike launched by the Russian occupation forces against the railway station in Chaplyne, Dnipropetrovsk region, on August 24 was a deliberate terror act against the civilian infrastructure and civilians, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Mykola Lukashuk has said.
"It was a deliberate terror act against the civilian infrastructure and residents, citizens of our country. Why? Because it was a combined shelling: S-300 and Iskander missiles were used. And if we can say that S-300 has a large radius of expansion, Iskander is a modern precise weapon, which was designed exactly to bypass the air defense system," he told a press briefing hosted by the Ukraine-Ukrinform media center on Friday.
Lukashuk also said that 26 people were killed in Dnipropetrovsk region this week, and 25 of them were killed as a result of Russia’s attack on the railway station in Chaplyne on Wednesday.
