Russians use Hurricanes with cluster munitions near Karlivka, launch missile attack on power supply infrastructure of enterprises in Kurakhove – local authorities
KYIV. Aug 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – In Kurakhove, the Russians launched a missile attack on the power supply infrastructure and several enterprises, a person was injured, the enemy used Hurricanes with cluster munitions in Karlivka area, Head of the regional military administration Pavlo Kyrylenko has said.
"In Avdiyivka, chaotic and massive shelling almost did not stop all night. The central and old parts of the city were under fire. In Kurakhove, the Russians launched a missile attack on power supply infrastructure and enterprises. One person was injured. In Ocheretianska merged territorial community, the occupiers used ‘Hurricanes’ with cluster munitions in the area of Karlivka," he said on Facebook.
In Kramatorsk region, four houses were destroyed by night shelling, in the village of Yasnohirka and two houses in Sloviansk.
"At about 03.00 in the morning, the Russians launched a missile attack on Mykolaivka, the outbuilding of the local school was destroyed," the administration’s head said.
One shelling took place in Bakhmut, a private house and a summer cottage were damaged. Another shelling was in Zaitseve, where a man was wounded.
"In the vicinity of Soledar and nearby villages, single shelling continued all night – two houses in Fedorivka were damaged," Kyrylenko said.
