Russians stepping up offensive actions, but suffering significant losses – Maliar
KYIV. Feb 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian army is increasing the intensity of offensive actions, using the tactics of exhaustion and total destruction, said Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar.
“In short and in simple words, the situation at the front is complicated. The enemy army is increasing the intensity of assault operations. The most difficult situation remains in Bakhmut direction,” she wrote on the Telegram channel on Monday evening.
“The enemy uses tactics of exhaustion and total destruction during offensive actions. At the same time, the enemy is suffering significant losses, losing from 600 to 1,000 people every day,” she said.
“The Defense Forces of Ukraine are conducting active defensive actions in conditions of quantitative superiority of the enemy. Our fighters are bravely fighting the enemy,” summed up the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
