Russian occupiers shell Kherson from mortars, one person killed – PGO
KYIV. Nov 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Kherson law enforcers have launched a pre-trial investigation into the criminal case on a mortar shelling of Kherson by the Russian occupation forces, as a result of which one civilian was killed, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (PGO) said.
"According to the investigation, on November 16, 2022, the Russian troops shelled Kherson from mortars. As a result, one local resident died from shrapnel wounds. Also, windows of a multi-apartment building were damaged near the impact site," it said.
Prosecutors jointly with police investigators have examined the shelling scene and recorded all consequences of the enemy attack. The pre-trial investigation continues.
