Russian occupiers shell civilian car in Hola Prystan, kill child – local authorities
KYIV. Feb 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian occupation forces shelled a civilian car in the temporarily occupied town of Hola Prystan, and a child was killed as a result of the attack, Kherson Regional Military Administration has said.
"The car went on fire due to an enemy artillery attack. There were three people, including an 8-year-old boy, inside. The child died on the scene," it said.
The case has been registered by the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.
"According to law enforcers, the shelling that claimed a child’s life occurred on February 2. A total of 86 children were injured in Kherson region since the beginning of the hostilities due to the Russian aggression," Kherson Regional Military Administration said.
