Russian occupiers damage, destroy over 3,000 educational institutions since Feb 24 – Education Ministry
KYIV. Jan 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian occupation forces damaged or completely destroyed the buildings of more than 3,000 educational institutions since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the Education and Science Ministry of Ukraine has said.
"Some 3,045 educational institutions suffered damage from bombing and shelling," the ministry said on the website for the monitoring of the damage caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
According to the statement, some 2,621 institutions were damaged and 424 were completely destroyed.
