KYIV. Aug 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian law enforcers have identified the Russian serviceman who ordered to open tank fire on Trostianets Town Hospital in Sumy region, the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) has said.

"Under the procedural guidance of the leadership of Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the Russian serviceman has been notified of suspicion in absentia for the violation of laws of the warfare (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," it said on the Telegram channel on Wednesday.

According to the PGO, on March 23, 2022, during the Russian occupation in the town of Trostianets in Sumy region, contrary to international humanitarian law, the local hospital was shelled from T-80 tank.
