Russian invaders trying to return lost positions, moving troops – AFU General Staff
KYIV. Sept 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian occupation forces continue to focus their efforts on attempts to fully occupy Donetsk region, holding the occupied territories and undermining the Ukrainian defense forces’ in specific direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
"The enemy shells the positions of our units along the entire contact line, tries to return its lost positions, moves its troops and conducts aerial surveillance," it said on Facebook.
The occupiers also continue to terrorize the civilian population of Ukraine and violate the laws and rules of war. In particular, the enemy launched air and missile strikes against the infrastructure facilities in more than 15 residential areas. At night the invaders mounted a missile attack on the civilian infrastructure in Mykolaiv and Kramatorsk. Eight missile attacks, four airstrikes and 15 shelling attacks from multiple launch rocket systems in the past 24 hours.
The threat of airstrikes and missile attacks remains all over the territory of Ukraine.
