Russian invaders fire 21 missiles at Zaporizhia district – city council
KYIV. Dec 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Friday, December 16, in the morning, the Russian occupation forces fired 21 missiles against the city of Zaporizhia and Zaporizhia district within half an hour, Secretary of Zaporizhia City Council Anatoliy Kurtiev has said.
"As a result of the attack, some districts of the city were left without electricity supply. According to preliminary information, fortunately, there are no victims, people were not hurt," he said on the Telegram channel.
Power supply in the city has been resumed, Kurtiev said, recalling that local residents should mind the load on the power grid and try to save energy. He also said that in case of a long-term power outage, everyone can come to the nearest Invincibility Points in order to charge gadgets and get warmed.
Kurtiev also thanked the air defense forces of Ukraine for their skillful work.
