Russian international reserves up $1.6 bln in week

MOSCOW. Nov 8 (Interfax) – Russia’s international reserves grew $1.6 billion to $623.2 billion in the week to October 29, the Central Bank said.

The reserves stood at $621.6 billion on October 22.

They consist of highly liquid financial assets at the disposal of the CB and Russian government, including foreign currency, monetary gold, special drawing rights, the reserve position at the IMF and other reserve assets.
