Russian forces launch eight missile, 28 air strikes against Ukraine in past 24 hours – AFU General Staff
KYIV. Feb 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian occupation forces launched eight missile and 28 air strikes, including 12 by Iranian-made Shahed-136 kamikaze drones, against Ukraine in the past 24 hours, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said on Monday.
The enemy “mounted more than 55 shelling attacks using multiple launch rocket systems” in the past 24 hours, it said on Facebook.
The enemy is focused on the offensive operations in Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Shakhtarsk directions. It has been increasing the number of personnel there.
According to the General Staff, up to 200 conscripts have been transferred from Rostov region to the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region.
The threat of missile attacks remains high all over the territory of Ukraine.
In Volyn, Polissia, Siversky, and Slobozhansky directions, the situation did not change. No offensive enemy groups were detected. In the borderline districts of Bryansk and Kursk regions, the enemy equips engineering facilities, including anti-tank ditches.
