Russia receives new batch of Shahed-136, it is smaller than first – Ukraine's Intelligence Agency
KYIV. Dec 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Russia has received a new batch of Shahed-136, which is smaller than the first, the use of Iranian ballistic missiles by Russia against Ukraine has not been recorded, representative of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Andriy Yusov said.
"This is a new batch [Shahed-136], we don’t comment on the number now, but we see that, for example, Shahed-136s were not used during yesterday’s massive missile strikes… This is a new batch, but the batch, compared to the initial mass using Shahed-136 is obviously less," he said on the air of the national telethon on Saturday evening, December 17.
According to Yusov, as of now, the use of Iranian ballistic missiles by Russia against Ukraine has not been, however, it is known about preliminary agreements and "great efforts of the Russian Federation to obtain these missiles."
"Although there is a possibility. And today information is being monitored, and efforts are being made to prevent this scenario from being realized. But there is such a threat," he said.
