Russia-occupation forces twice violate ceasefire in Donbas – JFO HQ

KYIV. Nov 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Since Tuesday midnight, on November 9, Russian mercenaries in Donbas twice violated the ceasefire and fired at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from small arms, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns, the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters (HQ) reported on Tuesday.

"Since Tuesday midnight, two violations of the ceasefire have been recorded by the armed formations of the Russian Federation. In the area of the settlement of Opytne, the enemy fired from small arms. Near Novo-Oleksandrivka, the enemy opened fire from grenade launchers of various systems and large-caliber machine guns," the message says.

It notes that there are no casualties among the personnel of the Joint Forces.

"Our defenders opened fire in return and forced the enemy to stop shelling. Units of the Joint Forces keep the situation under control and continue to carry out tasks to repel and contain the armed aggression of the Russian Federation," the JFO headquarters emphasize.
